Rachel Walker

Founder and CEO 

Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge of premium textile manufacturing and has worked hard to establish the 360 degree service that LLUK offers today.

Her honest and direct approach is evident in the long lasting partnerships she has established with our suppliers and clients. Rachel oversees each project to ensure they run efficiently and smoothly from start to finish resulting in clients receiving the personal service that is synonymous with LLUK.

Lucy Minty

Embroidery Manager

Lucy is a creative knitted textiles designer and has a keen interest in material development. Upon joining LLUK she embraced the new skill of automated embroidery and soon became our in-house expert and now manages the embroidery department, digitising and production. Her unprecedented eye for detail and exceptionally high standards ensures the customer receives only the best product and service as expected from LLUK. Being constantly inspired is important to Lucy and this shines through in her creativity on all projects.

 

Another creative soul, Lucy is a Pet Portrait Artist and can be commissioned via Instagram at drawingsbyminty

Andrea Burka

Production Manager

Andrea applies her vast production experience and extensive manufacturing skills to her management role here at LLUK.

She has created a strong, hardworking and reliable team through her hands on approach and enthusiasm to deliver.

She is experienced in every aspect of the process to the highest of standards, embarks on continuous improvement and instils this attitude within the team. Her kind and caring nature ensures the production team build strong lasting bonds with each other and consequently, LLUK is proud of its high staff retention and therefore consistency of workmanship for our clients.

Alexandra Mitchell

Production Assistent 

Alex’s LLUK journey began working within the hand-sew team and she soon progressed to Team Lead. From there, Alex demonstrated great leadership skills and an eye for production which quickly promoted her to Assistant Production Manger. With a constant urge to learn new things and being naturally creative and talented by hand, Alex taught herself how to hand embroider, become a silver-smith and is now expanding her skills into crocheting and darning! 

 

Alongside her role at LLUK, Alex has a side hustle Etsy shop ‘bewitchedbystitches’ where she produces garments and accessories adorned with embroidery inspired by nature.

Warda Rizvi

Product Development Manager

Warda graduated in Fashion Design and has a passion for working with new clients to explore how we can build strong long lasting relationships in providing our services. Working closely with LLUK’s MD for a number of years and utilising her experience from working within production and as Product Development Manager, she has a thorough understanding of the capabilities within the business and the manufacturing process. Warda’s exceptional organisational skills ensures every task is dealt with quickly, thoroughly and efficiently.   

Jess Haines

Projects Manager

Following her graduation in Fashion Design, Jess joined LLUK to expand her knowledge within the industry by working within the production team. Trained in material cutting, sewing and hand-sewing, Jess was eager to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Soaking everything up like a sponge whilst shadowing the Production Manager, she shot to Process Manager where she streamlined areas of the business to increase efficiency effectively and liaise with clients to ensure all bulk orders ran as smoothly as possible. Applying all that she has learned on the job, coupled with her creativity, Jess now works with clients to curate and deliver well designed and exceptionally made products for luxury point of sale, gifting and events projects.

Laura Kadhani

Marketing Manager

With a BA Hons in fashion Design, a track record of roles including styling, set design and social media management, Laura has earned her stripes with brands including Off-spring x Converse and sighted as styling talent for the Nike Dunk campaign. Another team member to have started from within LLUK’s production, Laura can also add hands-on manufacturing experience to her ever growing list of skills. 

 

Now Marketing Manager for LLUK, Laura applies her creative flare and ultimate cool vibes to our upcoming strategy to showcase LLUK as a stand-out manufacturing partner. 

 

As if this is not enough, Laura is the founder of accessory brand KADANI where she produces bags that have been featured in Refinery29, BuzzFeed and holds pop-up events with platforms like GUAP magazine and Style and Sound events.

Erin Moore 

Office Manager

A highly organised and efficient individual, Erin was the perfect addition to the Management Team as LLUK’s first Office Manager. With a proven record of excelling in high pressure roles within the recruitment industry, exceeding sales targets as an Account Manger and working as a Personal Assistant to company leaders, she has become an asset, ensuring the cogs keep turning behind the scenes.

Jon Shillingford

Logistics Manager

Jon is from an admin and accounting background, focused on streamlining and improving how he works. After looking for a fresh start and a change in career, Jon applied with LLUK to work in the QC team. He soon became QC Team lead and now in-line with business growth, is now our Logistics Manager. Not only is Jon a self taught sewer, his passion for cycling is demonstrated through his achievements in road racing and time trials. As as result of this, he does his bit for the environment by cycling to work come rain or shine! 

 Sue Spanswick 

HR Manager

Meet Sue, LLUK's trusted HR Consultant for the past few years and provides invaluable support to all members of the company, enabling the team to focus on the management and development of the business. Having worked in high performing corporate environments, Sue brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to LLUK and her passion for helping people is evident in her approach to HR. Whilst offering the most flexible service, Sue always manages to fulfil her obligatory daily step count with a refreshing walk along the Thames Path, passing through beautiful Henley, Hurley, and Sonning and also around Savill Garden/Windsor Great Park

Lisa Jacobs

Accounts  Manager

Lisa has been LLUK's Accounts Manager since 2021. Originally from South Africa, Lisa began her accounting career as a bookkeeper for legal firms. Her diverse experience working with many different companies has given her a unique understanding of the challenges and triumphs in various forms of business.

 

At LLUK she is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts and, more importantly, ensuring accurate payroll. Working remotely has given Lisa the flexibility to balance her work and family life. When she's not dealing with the challenges of Vat and Tax submissions, Lisa can be found spending quality time with her three children or indulging in her passion for reading. With her keen attention to detail and dedication to her work, Lisa is an invaluable asset to LLUK.
